High‐Efficiency Digital Inkjet‐Printed Non‐Fullerene Polymer Blends Using Non‐Halogenated Solvents

چکیده
Inkjet printing (IJP) of polymer solar cells is ideal for small-area off-grid electronics with low power consumption. However, IJP quite a complex technique compared techniques such as spin coating or doctor blading. The blends reported based on ITIC derivatives non-fullerene acceptors (NFAs) using non-halogenated solvents. results show that fluorination NFA essential to form highly stable inks in o-xylene, because has significantly insufficient solubility ITIC-4F. importance tetralin multifunctional co-solvent efficient PM6:ITIC-4F demonstrated, even at very concentrations, not only improves ink jettability and open nozzle time, but also drying behavior the blend layer, resulting homogeneous micro- nanoscale morphology. inkjet-printed maximum efficiency 10.1%. Moreover, produces significant changes microscale In particular, formation thin PM6 capping layer surface along improved phase separation crystallinity both donor acceptor greatly reduces recombination charge carriers thick blends, making photoactive films promising industrial applications.

متن کاملConjugated-Polymer Blends for Optoelectronics
Solution-processed polymer optoelectronic devices such as light-emitting diodes and solar cells have many advantages for large-area manufacture, and show increasing levels of performance. Here, we review recent progress in using blends of two conjugated polymers for optoelectronic devices. The blending of two or more polymers allows tuning of device performance, and for photovoltaics presents a...
متن کاملThermodynamics of Polymer Blends 2
This chapter summarizes the thermodynamics of multicomponent polymer systems, with special emphasis on polymer blends and mixtures. After a brief introduction of the relevant thermodynamic principles – laws of thermodynamics, definitions, and interrelations of thermodynamic variables and potentials – selected theories of liquid and polymer mixtures are provided: Specifically, both lattice theor...
متن کاملConfined flow of polymer blends.
The influence of confinement on the steady-state morphology of two different emulsions is investigated. The blends, made from polybutene (PB) in polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and polybutadiene (PBD) in PDMS, are sheared between two parallel plates, mostly with a standard gap spacing of 40 microm, in the range of shear rates at which the transition from "bulk" behavior toward "confined" behavior i...
متن کاملCompatibilization of immiscible polymer blends using graphene oxide sheets.
By taking the advantage of the unique amphiphilic structure of graphene oxide sheets (GOSs), we develop here a new and effective strategy for compatibilizing immiscible polymer blends. With the incorporation of only 0.5 wt % GOSs into immiscible polyamide/polyphenylene oxide (PA/PPO, 90/10) blends, the droplet diameter of the dispersed minor phase (PPO) is dramatically reduced by more than 1 or...
